... Significant weather alert for Baraga... Gogebic... Houghton... Iron
and Ontonagon counties until 345 am EDT/245 am CDT/...

At 300 am EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar was tracking
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles south of
Mass City to 6 miles southwest of Paulding... or along a line
extending from 20 miles southeast of Ontonagon to 32 miles north of
Eagle River. These storms were moving east at 50 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph... frequent cloud to ground lightning... and heavy
downpours are expected with these storms.
