The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a freeze
watch... which is in effect from late Tuesday night through
Wednesday morning. 

Hazardous weather... 

* inland from the Great Lakes... there will likely be a widespread
   frost and freeze as minimum temperatures fall as low as 27
   degrees. The warmth of the Great Lakes will limit the fall of
   temperature near the shores and the chance of frost or a freeze
   there. 

Impacts... 

* outdoor plants could be killed or damaged by frost and freezing
   temperatures. If possible... plan to bring sensitive plants or
   indoors or cover them.

A weak trough of low pressure sliding in from Minnesota this afternoon will bring another round of showers to western Upper Michigan this afternoon. Expect the showers to transitioning to central and eastern areas near Lake Superior overnight. Drier high pressure will be overhead Sunday.

An upper level trough of low pressure will being rain today that will move out of the western U.P. as the day goes on. Today will be much cooler than yesterday with highs in the 60s and cloudy skies. By this evening, mid level temperatures will be cool enough to support lake effect rain that will begin to dwindle tonight as dry air moves into the area.
