northeastern Iron County in south central Upper Michigan... 

* until midnight EDT/1100 PM CDT/

* at 1055 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a

line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size

hail... and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were

located along a line extending from 14 miles southwest of Redridge

to Sidnaw... and moving east at 25 mph.

Baraga... L'Anse... Nisula... Covington... Alberta... South Range... 

Keweenaw Bay... Chassell... Three Lakes... Skanee... Twin Lakes... 

Alston... Watton... Donken... Toivola... Pelkie... Tapiola... 

Painesdale... Ned Lake and Assinins.

Severe thunderstorms produce damaging wind in excess of 60 miles per

hour... destructive hail... deadly lightning... and very heavy rain. For

your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of your

home or business. Heavy rains flood roads quickly so do not drive
